We can vouch for the beauty of our beaches, but we don’t have a “crystal ball” when it comes to the weather! Don’t worry though: even on cloudy days, you can get your fill of beauty by going on tours in the area around Caorle!
Setting off from Caorle, you can get to Venice in just over an hour by car. Otherwise you can take a boat from the port of Caorle or the shuttle bus that stops near the hotel. What better opportunity to take a photo of the Rialto Bridge, admire the Bridge of Sighs, enjoy a cup of coffee at the historical bars in Piazza San Marco, visit the superb Basilica and its mosaics, drink a Spritz in the alleys and squares of the Jewish Ghetto or be won over by the works of art in the Galleria dell’Accademia?
…in the area around Caorle? Here are two locations less than half an hour away by car. Portogruaro, a pretty historic town that brings together the charm of the Middle Ages and the refinement of the Renaissance, in a flurry of canals and Venetian-style buildings. A Visit to the ancient Roman colony of Concordia Sagittaria is a journey through time amidst the archaeological treasures also dating back to the 1st century: forum, theatre, amphitheatre, thermal baths, burial ground, religious buildings from the early Christian period.
If you want a break from the beach, take advantage of the closeness of Treviso (67 km), Trieste (113 km) and Aquileia (66 km), a city of art on the border between Veneto and Friuli Venezia Giulia.
Otherwise, follow an itinerary taking you to the most beautiful noble Venetian residences, like Villa Pisani, Villa di Maser, Villa Emo, Villa La Rotonda and Villa Manin.
